Bard Peripheral Vascular and it's employees believe in supporting and giving back to the community. The following are some of the charitable programs we support.

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®
For the last several years, Bard Peripheral Vascular employees have been raising money for the fight against breast cancer by participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®. Last October, Bard Peripheral Vascular sponsored a team of over 60 which included employees and their spouses, children and friends. In addition, Bard Peripheral Vascular donated $10,000 to the fun half-day event, which featured a 5K run/fitness walk.

Rebuilding the Valley of the Sun
Bard Peripheral Vascular employees spent six hours of company time painting the homes of senior citizens. Everyone, from top management to the newest production worker, had the chance to pick up a paintbrush and help someone in need. Not only does this project provide valuable community service each fall, but it is also a great team building exercise for Bard Peripheral Vascular.

Foundation for Blind Children, Fall Festival
Bard Peripheral Vascular employees provide helping hands at the Foundation for Blind Children's Fall Festival 2004. In addition to making a cash donation, employees helped children play games, dress up and interact with animals.

Arizona Action for Foster Children, Angel Tree
Christmas saw Bard Peripheral Vascular employees swing into action for area foster children by placing an angel tree in its lobby. Since 2002 more than a hundred angel tags per year have been taken home by employees, who shopped for the items requested by foster children.

Foundation for Blind Children, Literacy Day
2005 was the first year of participaion in this program for Bard Peripheral Vascular. Our employees were incredibly honored to help these special children and their families enjoy a day of Literacy events. Bard Peripheral Vascular employees enjoyed reading to children and helping them with art projects.

  St. Mary's Food Bank
Bard Peripheral Vascular employees regularly help with food drives at St. Mary's Food Bank. During the 2004 summer/fall food drive, employees spent two days sorting and packing food boxes that were distributed to needy families and individuals in the area.
